BOSU Balance Trainer Review and My 3 Fave Exercises for Toning Your Arms

BOSU Balance Trainer Review
Disclaimer: this post was sponsored by BOSU but all opinions expressed are my own. I truly appreciate all of the brands that support the Fit Approach (Sweat Pink) community.

I am always eager to try new fitness equipment so I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to review a BOSU balance trainer. When I received the box at my door I couldn't wait to try it out. I received the pink home balance trainer and I loved that it was pink! The brightness just makes you want to jump on it. :)

In the box was the balance trainer, along with the pump to inflate it. The instructions were very simple to follow. Just insert the nozzle firmly and inflate to a height of about 9 inches. It takes a while with the given pump, but it works. Put the air plug in, once at the height you want it at (must be below 10 inches) and you are good to go.

The owner's manual that has the instructions to get started and how to inflate the BOSU, also has great instructions on how to get comfortable or acclimated to the BOSU. It gives a nice set of exercises for a total body workout. Included in the box, I also received the 4 in 1 Complete Body workout DVD.
It was so nice to have so many options and resources available. So far I've tried the Long and Lean, Total Body Workout, and Fuse: Balanced Endurance with Kelli Roberts. The programs are all great and very easy to follow. It is so much fun to learn new moves. I have even found some great exercises on the BOSU website where they have clips of exercises to try out.

I am really loving the BOSU because there is just so much you can do with it. Here are the things that I love about the BOSU:

- It is something different, I'm so used to regular moves and stable ground so trying the BOSU was very exciting.
- The BOSU makes basic moves challenging (like pushups and burpees)
- It helps improve balance (obviously)
- Lots of great core moves
- Very fun cardio or aerobic fitness moves
- Easy to use

I have been having so much fun with the #BOSUStrong challenge. I hope you are too! If not, it isn't too late. Jump right on in because there is still another week to go.

If you are looking for some great exercises to help tone your arms, here are my 3 favorite:
BOSU Push ups
Push ups
BOSU Tricep Dips
Tricep dips
BOSU Squat and Lateral Rasie
Bosu Squat and Lateral Raise

You can do them with or without a BOSU and still get some great results.

Also, if you are interested in getting a BOSU Balance Trainer there is a great deal going on. Purchase a BOSU Sport and get the BOSU Sport-Kids DVD for FREE or purchase a BOSU Balance Trainer and get a free starter program! The starter programs you can choose from are: BOSU Total Body Basics or BOSU Core Basics. Just use discount code BOSUSWEATPINK15.

Overall, I am very happy with the BOSU Balance Trainer. It is fun and also challenging especially all of the killer core moves I've been learning. I'm also looking forward to learning more moves on the BOSU. Even after the #BOSUStrong challenge, I plan on making the BOSU a part of my weekly cross training.

Have you ever tried a BOSU?
