Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 10/12-10/18

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 10/12 - Rest
Tuesday 10/13 - Easy 2 miles
Wednesday 10/14 - 5.5 miles with a friend.
Thursday 10/15 - 3.3 mile walk with a friend.
Friday 10/16 - Rare 3 mile walk with Hubby in the morning. It was great to be kid free and on such a beautiful day.
Saturday 10/17 - 55 minutes on the deskcycle while watching TV.
Sunday 10/18 - 60 minutes on the deskcycle while watching TV.
I took it pretty easy this week on the workouts. After the Brooklyn RnR Half marathon my legs were pretty sore the next day. I thought taking a couple of days rest would be enough but when I did the 2 miler on Tuesday, my right hamstring felt a little funny, so ever since then I've been taking it easy. I used the deskcyle the last couple of nights to get in some exercise while watching tv. Love that it is so convenient.

My next run is the Trenton 10K on November 7th, which will also be my last day in New Jersey. I can't believe I will be moving in a little less than 3 weeks! I don't think I updated you all on the house situation. Our condo did sell (we got multiple offers) and we are in contract and scheduled to close on November 5th. The house we liked in Davis, the sellers accepted our offer and we are in also contract there. :) We are so EXCITED! We just hope everything goes as planned and are hoping to close the second week of November. We'll be in limbo for a little while, but it will all hopefully be worth it in the end. Just hoping for a smooth transition.

On to this weekend, Hubby is away at a conference, so I was on my own with the kiddos. Saturday morning started with 4 year old's soccer game. It was a cold morning, but always fun to watch him play.
In the afternoon was 6 year old's soccer game. He did great too!
On Sunday, the most exciting thing we did was head over to the movie theater to watch Hotel Transylvania 2. We rarely go to the movies, but with Hubby away, I thought it would be a fun thing to do with the boys. The movie was actually pretty entertaining and fun to watch. The kiddos loved it and already can't wait to watch another in the theater.
That sums up my week. Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
