Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 12/7-12/13

This was probably the lowest mileage week I've had in a long time. Only 6 miles of running total for the week. When 6 year old got sick last Sunday it lingered and eventually I got sick. Wednesday was the day it hit me and I ended up with a fever, my body was achy, and I was just tired the whole day. I was in bed most of the day but still managed to feed the kiddos lunch while thankfully Hubby made dinner. I woke up Thursday a WHOLE lot better and was relieved that the fever went away. 

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 12/7 - 3 miles.
Tuesday 12/8 - 1 hour on the deskcycle while watching tv.
Wednesday 12/9 - sick.
Thursday 12/10 - 2 miles total running to the park and back while the kiddos biked (pic is of the first mile to the park).
Friday 12/11 - 1 mile jog at the track while 6 year old had soccer.
Saturday 12/12 - Hiking with the fam.
Sunday 12/13 - Rest.

The highlight of the week was definitely the weekend. We didn't have anything planned on Saturday but knowing that it was going to be the best day of the week weatherwise (Sunday's forecast was for rain) we decided on a hiking day trip to visit Muir Woods National Monument.
I'll have a separate blog post about our day trip that included Mt. Tamalpais and other fun parts of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. 


Sunday, was a day of errands and furniture shopping. I'm so happy we finally got a new sofa! I can't wait till it arrives. :)
