Seattle Rock'N'Roll Half Marathon Training Week 9: 5/30-6/5

It's been another great week of running! I think I got in the most miles in a week this week with 36.4 miles! It's only because I made up my long run on Monday and had another long run yesterday. I was definitely feeling some tired legs on yesterday's run. I can't believe Seattle Rock'n'Roll is less than two weeks away. It will not be a goal race for me and the reason why will be in an upcoming blog post. I'm excited for the run and can't wait to be back in my home town!

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 5/30 - 10 miles, makeup long run from missing it due to our backpacking trip to Snow Mountain.
Tuesday 5/31 - Rest
Wednesday 6/1 - 4.6 miles with a friend.
Thursday 6/2 - 4.5 miles with a friend.
Friday 6/3 - 5.25 miles with a friend.
Saturday 6/4 - Rest
Sunday 6/5 - 12 mile long run
The week was a busy one with celebrating now 7 year old's birthday on Wednesday.

And also celebrating 5 year old's preschool graduation on Thursday. I can't believe he will be a kindergartner in the fall! Both boys are growing so fast!

As to the weekend, Saturday was a day of errands and getting some last minute things for 7 year old's party. We did spend the afternoon at the pool.

It was fun to see 7 year old go off the high dive board. He's so brave.
Sunday we had 7 year old's birthday party at the local climbing gym. He had a great time celebrating with friends.

This weekend we are planning another backpacking trip depending on weather, so we are excited about that.  That sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
