SKINS DNAmic Women's Superpose Compression Shorts Review & Giveaway

SKINS DNAmic Women's Superpose Compression Shorts Review & Giveaway
This post is sponsored by SKINS and Fit Approach. All opinions are my own.

I'm a fan of compression socks. I love them for recovery and wearing them occasionally on runs. I've never tried compression shorts or tights so I was intrigued when given the opportunity to try an item of the SKINS DNAmic line. I was given the choice to choose a piece and I actually had a hard time choosing since they've got cool looking capri tights, long tights, and shorts. I went with the shorts, only because it fits for this time of year. It's pretty hot in the summer where I live and I won't be wearing long tights or capris for a while. The shorts turned out to be a great choice.

The shorts look great. They combine a dynamic gradient compression base layer with a lightweight, quick dry, loose fitting short to provide extra coverage.

I like how the back has a zippered pocket where you can put your keys or fuel like GU.

When I put them on they were nice and snug. The dynamic gradient compression base layer supports the glutes and upper thighs. The compression is supposed to increase oxygen delivery to active muscles while in motion and reduces lactic-acid build-up for more power and less recovery time. It is pretty awesome that they have published research backing up their compression technology. You can read more about it here.SKINS DNAmic Superpose shorts

The outer layer is very lightweight. Lighter than I thought and very thin. It wasn't what I was expecting but works fine. Another benefit of these shorts is muscle focus. The compression uniquely wraps and supports your key muscle groups to reduce movement and focus direction for less vibration in your muscles, less soft tissue damage and less soreness after exercise.
The shorts felt really good on runs. I wore them on my last 8 miler and all was well. I think they did help with recovery. I like that they are very comfortable and no chafing. They are really nice shorts.
