CIM Marathon Training Week 15 & Weekly Wrap: 10/30-11/5

Week 15 of CIM training is in the books! It was a high mileage week at 42.5 miles! I think that's a high for the year when it comes to weekly mileage for me! Lots of miles and even got in a cross training workout with the girls. Sunday was the Run The Parkway 20 mile race that went really well. Just 4 more weeks until CIM!

Here's a recap of what I did last week following Coach Dawn's plan:

Sunday 11/5 -

Actual: 20 miles comfortable/easy

Saturday I worked while 8 year old had his soccer jamboree. Afterwards I tried to get some laundry done. I find it harder to do housework during the week now that I'm working.

Sunday morning I ran the Run the Parkway 20 miler with my friend Elizabeth. Turned out to be a great training run. Plan was to go easy comfortable and then Elizabeth wanted to pick up the pace the last mile. I ended up running the last mile in 8:25!
While I was running my 20 miles, Hubby and the boys were playing Sunday soccer with the neighborhood kids. No pic of their soccer but I did get this pic of the boys playing with Hubby before we left to go shopping. We decided to go the Outlet Mall in Vacaville to get some stuff for the boys, especially for 8 year old. With the weather getting cooler, he needed more long sleeves and pants.
It was neat to see this Filipino food truck while we were at the Outlet mall. It was a first to see Filipino food nearby. Unfortunately we didn't try it since we had already eaten lunch, but it's cool to know it's there for next time.
For dinner, we did end up at our favorite sushi place. Always a yummy dinner at Huku.
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
