NYC Half Marathon Training Week 6: 1/26-2/1

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 1/26 - T25 Beta Dynamic Core
Tuesday 1/27 - 4 miles in the snow
Wednesday 1/28 - 40 minute run
Thursday 1/29 - 3 miles with friends
Wanted a little strength training so I did T25's Beta Rip't Circuit
Friday 1/30 - 1 hour of yoga. I'm so excited to start the #TaketheLeap 30 days of yoga challenge with prAna and Sweatpink today! You can read more about the challenge here.
Saturday 1/31 - 3 mile run
Sunday 2/1 - 8 mile long run on Superbowl Sunday.
Yesterday, I found out that I was chosen to be a mermaid club ambassador. I'm so excited to a part of their awesome community. It's another group of women that shares the same interests and passion for fitness and health as me! I love that their goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for women to connect with each other across the globe to empower, motivate, and feel alive.
This has been another good week training wise! I got some decent runs this week even with the cold and snow around. I'm happy that I got in two workouts of T25 this week and also a full hour of yoga. I'm really looking forward to doing this yoga challenge. I hope to learn lots in the next 30 days.

A little less than 6 six weeks until the NYC Half, just hope the weather cooperates so I can still run outside!

  4. Thanks MaryBeth! Running in the snow is tough, but it will make us tougher for the spring! :)
