NYC Half Marathon Training Week 11 Recap: 3/2-3/8

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 3/2 - T25 Beta Dynamic Core
Tuesday 3/3 - 5 miles with friends.
Wednesday 3/4 - 4 miles including some speed work. I did 10x400's at 5K pace.
Thursday 3/5 - Snow day. I was supposed to run 3 miles, but couldn't with the kiddos both at home. I ended up doing T25 Gamma Speed 3.0. Then played outside with the kiddos.
Friday 3/6 - PiYo Sweat
Saturday 3/7 - T25 Beta Core Speed.
Sunday 3/8 - 3 mile walk with the kiddos.
I'd say this week was so so training wise for the NYC Half. With Hubby gone at a Conference since Tuesday things have been a little harder around the household, but not too bad. It just feels really weird for me right now because I have not gotten a chance to run since Wednesday's 4 mile run. I just hope this won't hurt me for Sunday's race.

I did try to stay active over the weekend with the kiddos outside since I could not get any runs in. On Saturday I took the kiddos outside a couple of times to play in the snow and also for a short walk on the canal trail. We ended up making two snowmen that day. :)
Then on Sunday, we went out for a 3 mile walk to a playground and also a little bit on the canal trail. I didn't really plan on walking that far but I miscalculated the distance to the playground and the boys still did great!
Well, I can't believe just 6 more days until I will be running the streets of New York City! Not to mention my sister will be flying in on Wednesday from Portland. This is going to be fun! :)

I have seriously missed having a normal winter, we had our first real snow storm last monday and I loved it, but it is almost all melted now, your pictures make me realize how much I have missed not being able to build snowmen this year:)
