Kuhl Clothing Review! Great everyday wear and for Adventures!

I was provided the opportunity to receive these products without charge in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm hoping I will be getting back to posting on the blog again more often. I recently had the opportunity to try out some clothing from Kuhl and wanted to share my thoughts.

Kuhl is pronounced "cool" and is an independently owned company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I didn't know a whole lot about the company before trying their clothes. I just knew that they were a high quality outdoorsy brand. I would see their clothes whenever I shopped at REI but thought the clothes were pretty pricy.

Doing a little research on their website, it was neat to see what the company values. From their website, their goal is simple:

"employ and partner with great people, source responsibly, and provide a higher quality of living for all involved to make the best damn products. We want to give you the opportunity to enjoy the journey rather than focusing on the destination."

Their prices are a bit higher but only because they never settle for second best. They source from the finest materials from environmentally conscious and ethically minded partners. This all sounds really great to me. A company that does these things is a plus in my book. There is also a lot of useful info on their website. They have a blog with lots of tips for hiking, travel, style, and even food & drink. For example how to make your own electrolyte drink which I thought was neat since I need electrolytes for running and hiking.

Anyway, the products that I got to review were the Trekr Pant, Haven Jogger, and Kamp long sleeve shirt. I also got some stickers and a honey waffle in the package.

Kuhl clothing review items
Over the last month, I've been wearing the clothing. From taking walks in the neighborhood, to traveling to San Jose for a race, or traveling to Salinas/ Monterey for a soccer game, it has been great trying them out. The clothes are really nice. Everything is comfortable.
Kuhl Trekr pants and Kamp LS review
The Trekr pants are very comfortable. I'm 5'3" and got size 4 with 30"inseam and they fit great. They have a nice straight relaxed fit. It's nice to know that they have UPF 50+ sun protection. The shirt is the Kamp long sleeve and I love that it is cute and very light weight. It too has uv protection from the sun with UPF 30+ rating. The outfit was great for walking and also when I traveled to San Jose for my half marathon race. Something that I haven't tried yet with the Trekr pants is that they can go from pant to capri using the in-pocket adjusters. Such a cool function that I am excited to try for my next outing that calls for changing from pants to capri. Definitely would be a plus for traveling to areas that are cooler and then get warmer.
Kuhl Clothing for every day wear
The other pants I got to try out were the Haven Joggr in the twilight color. I got a size small and it fits nicely. They too have maximum sun protection with UPF 50+. The pants were perfect for my trip to Salinas/Monterey. The pants were comfortable, lightweight, and very durable. I also loved that all the pockets had zippers.

Kuhl Haven Joggr clothing review
Overall, I am very impressed with Kuhl. They produce great quality clothing. They are pricey but worth the price as they are made with the finest quality materials. They source from environmentally conscious partners and like I mentioned above, don't settle for second best. All the items I tried are great for everyday wear and for traveling. I have yet to do a big hike in them but have no doubt they will be comfortable and will be able to endure any hike I go on. I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone that is outdoorsy and/or loves to travel.
