American River Parkway Half Marathon Training Week 15: 4/17-4/23

Week 15 of training for the American River Parkway Half Marathon is in the books and went well! I did all my running workouts and felt good about them so I am happy about that. I can't believe that the half marathon is this weekend! I am excited and a bit nervous. I just need to trust my training and hope that race day goes well!

Here's a recap of last week's workouts following Coach Dawn's plan:

Actual: Rest
Sunday 4/23 -
Scheduled: Rest 3 miles easy
Actual: 3 miles easy

As to the weekend, Friday evening started with the kiddos soccer games. It's always fun to watch their games. They both did great!
Saturday was a running rest day and we headed to Sacramento with friends for the March for Science. It was our first time doing a March and it was a good time.
It was a great way for us to support Science. It matters to us especially since Hubby is a scientist and it is an important part of our family.
Sunday after my short run with friends, I went to watch the kiddos play soccer with neighborhood friends.
The rest of the day was spent doing errands and helping Hubby with our garden. I even got in a nice nap. I was pretty tired so the nap helped a lot.
I still can't believe my half marathon is this coming Saturday! I'm really hoping I can beat my PR of 1:54:01. Wish me luck!

That sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
