Shamrock'n Half Marathon Training Week 4: 1/22-1/28

Another week of training is in the books! I got in all of my runs and did more cross training so I'm happy with how the week went. I did get my running race schedule for 2018 up on the blog. If you missed that post you can check it out here

Here's a recap of what I did last week:

Monday 1/22 - T25 Alpha Cardio workout and some core.
Tuesday 1/23 - 10 minute w/u, 1/2 mile repeats x 4 with 1:30 recover, 10 minute c/d.
Wednesday 1/24 - Easy 5 miles with a friend.
Thursday 1/25 - 3 mile demo run with coworkers and Hammer & Chisel workout at home.
It was fun running in Sacramento with co-workers and sporting Nathan Hydration vests.
Strength training workout in the afternoon.
Friday 1/26 - 4 miles with friend.
Saturday 1/27 - 8 mile long run with Fleet Feet Training group.
Sunday 1/28 - 2 miles with the fam.
It was also a good weekend! After Saturday's long run with the training group, I went straight to 8 year old's soccer game. It was a good game but unfortunately they lost.
Next up was 6 year old's basketball game. It is always fun watching him play.
After that game, I rushed over to watch the last 2 quarters of 8 year old's basketball game. Yes, it was a busy day of sports for us.
Fortunately after the busy morning/afternoon of sports, one of our friends was happy to take the boys while me and Hubby went out on a date night. It was great to grab a beer and take Hubby to a new restaurant. It was delicious and we were both too full to even get dessert.
On Sunday, the fam went out for 2 miles before I had to head in to work. I'm enjoying these miles together!!
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and Taking the Long Way Home for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
