As to the weekend, on Friday the kids had the Asian Pacific Festival at their school. It was a lot of fun. Lots of games, crafts, and performances. It was a fun family activity on a Friday night.
Saturday morning was all soccer for the boys. 7 year old had tryouts for the club team and 8 year old had a game.
The rest of the day was pretty lazy and it was nice to relax. After dinner we did go out to the park to play some soccer with the boys.
Sunday morning started with my 9 mile long run. It was a good run and it was really nice to come home to hugs and cards from the boys for Mother's Day.
Hubby took 7 year old to his soccer tryouts so I had some time to relax at home with my 8 year old. When they got back, we headed out to Auburn Alehouse for lunch before our short hike on the Confluence Trail.
It was a nice hike with good views and the boys really enjoyed playing by the river. For dinner, we went to my favorite sushi place.
Overall, it was a great Mother's Day. That pretty much sums up my week! I'm looking forward to the upcoming weekend because I'll be running Bay to Breakers! One of the funnest races of the year! :) Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and Taking the Long Way Home for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
