Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 11/9-11/15

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 11/9 - 3.8 mile run on the Arboretum Trail.
Tuesday 11/10 - 4.35 mile run.
Wednesday 11/11 - Rest.
Thursday 11/12 - 6.8 mile run.
Friday 11/13 - Rest.
Saturday 11/14 - 4.13 mile run.
Sunday 11/15 - 7 mile run.
Got in lots of good running this week even with part of it while staying at a hotel. 26 miles total and I'm good with that. I couldn't do much cross training while at the hotel. I hope to do more this week. I don't have any serious races until after the new year. I did sign up for the Sacramento Santa Run in December as a fun 5K to do with the whole fam. I'm excited for that because 6 year old is excited for his first real 5K. The only other race I've signed up for so far is Bay to Breakers in May. I do have other races I'm thinking about signing up for (Davis Stampede and RnR San Francisco) before May and I am also still figuring out which full marathon I will do for next year.

So we are official homeowners! :) We closed and got the keys Thursday afternoon! It is so nice to finally own a house.
We are also very thankful that everything worked out ok with selling our condo in New Jersey and closing here in California. Now all we need is our stuff. We were hoping to get it this week, but it looks like we won't be getting our stuff until Wednesday (at least our car came in time). We were prepared though and have our sleeping bags, so it is better than nothing. :p

The weekend was full of cleaning, errands, and exploring nearby parks and playgrounds. One of the criteria when looking for our new home was to be close to parks and playgrounds, along with trails for running and we are happy we got that.
The kiddos love being so close to the playground, basketball courts, and soccer field. They want to go everyday! I'm fine with that. :)
I'm really enjoying exploring new running routes. I'm amazed at the trail system here in Davis. There are so many different routes I can take. I'm looking forward to running new routes next week! :)
That sums up my week. Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
