Lucky Run Half Marathon Training 3/7-3/13

I'd say it was good week of running and workouts. I got in a lot of mileage and am happy with the runs and how I've been feeling during them. I feel like I will be fine running the half marathon I've got coming up next weekend, the Lucky Run Half in Davis, it's just a matter of how fast I will be able to do it.

Here's a recap of what I did last week:

Monday 3/7 - Made up the long run I missed last weekend. Got in a good 11 miles to the arboretum and back.
Tuesday 3/8 - PiYo Sweat.
Wednesday 3/9 - 5 miles with a friend.
Thursday 3/10 - 3 miles.
Friday 3/11 - Core basics workout with the BOSU.
Saturday 3/12 - 12 mile long run with a friend.
Sunday 3/13 - Rest

I've got the Davis Lucky run coming up on Saturday and I don't have a specific time goal, I will be happy with anything under 2 hours. I would love to PR and to do that I would need to a run 1:54 and I'm not sure I'm there yet with it being early in the year, but who knows? If the stars align I think I could have a chance.  We'll see.

As to the weekend it was as good as it can be with it raining pretty much all weekend. California needs the rain so I can't complain. Saturday morning started with my 12 mile long run with my friend Lenora. We started at 6:30am which was perfect because it was before the rain started. I'm so glad I have a friend to run with. The miles go by a lot quicker and it is so much more funner.
The rest of Saturday consisted of shopping at the Outlets in Vacaville and also having dinner at a family friends house. I totally forgot to get a pic of the yummy dessert we had, a delicious chocolate cake and a raspberry white cake. I did sample of both and both were so good. Bad blogger me forgot to take a pic and I'm sure it would have had you all drooling. :p

The highlight of Sunday was taking the kiddos to the local climbing gym. They had a blast climbing the walls and traversing across. I would have climbed along with them but I didn't want to have sore arms. I will definitely try next time!
That sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
