Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 5/1-5/7

Last week was my first week free from any type of training plan after the American River Parkway Half Marathon. If you didn't see my recap, you can check it out here. I still got in some good runs and even got a good Tabata workout in with the girls. It's nice just running for the heck of it. I do have Bay to Breakers coming up on May 20th but it's going to be a fun run with friends.

Here's a recap of what I did last week:

Monday 5/1 - 3 mile recovery run.
Tuesday 5/2 - Early morning run with friends.
Wednesday 5/3 - Rest
Thursday 5/4 - 4 mile run with a friend.
The run also counted towards my MP3 medal for Rock'n'Roll's Running Tracks virtual run.
Also got in a good Tabata workout with the girls on the courts.
Friday 5/5 - 5 mile run with a friend.
Saturday 5/6 - Rest
Sunday 5/7 - 7 miles with friends.
As to the weekend, it started out with soccer on Friday for the boys.
My parents were in town briefly so it was great to see them.
On Saturday, it was a relaxing morning. 7 Year old had a birthday party at local climbing gym.
Later in the afternoon, we went to the kiddos school fundraiser that was at a local brewery. It was a great time socializing with other parents while drinking beer, and the kids played with their friends. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday, we had the Davis Loopalooza bike ride. It's a fun ride with stations for the kids to stop at and have their passport stamped. We rode the whole 12 mile loop and did it a lot faster than last year. It's great to see them improve so much after a year.
I had fun at the station with the interesting bikes. This was a fun one to ride. :)
And that pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
