Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 5/22-5/28

It's been a busy week which explains the very late post. I got in some good runs and workouts last week. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! Mine was a blast exploring Yosemite with good friends.

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 5/22 - 3 mile recovery run and a Kamagon ball workout.
Tuesday 5/23 - 5.3 miles with a friend.
Wednesday 5/24 - 3 morning miles with friends.
Thursday 5/25 - Hill repeats on the overpass 6 times with w/u and c/d for total of 4 miles.
Afterwards got in a good cross training workout on the courts with the girls.
Friday 5/26 - 8 morning miles with friends.
Saturday 5/27 - Hiking at Yosemite (Vernal Falls Mist trail to Nevada Falls)
Sunday 5/28 - Yosemite (Glacier Point & Bridalveil Falls)

Memorial day weekend started out Friday afternoon with a pool play date. The boys had a blast!
Next up was 6 year old's soccer party at the park where we had pizza and I tried out this yummy cheesecake. :)
 The boys enjoyed playing with their friends. This is always a favorite at the playground.
We left for Yosemite early Saturday morning. We went with two other families and it was a great time! I am hoping to recap our adventures in upcoming blog posts but for now I will leave you with some pics.

That sums up my week! This weekend I've actually got a 5K on Sunday, the Kaiser Permanente Women's Festival 5K. We'll see how it goes as I would love to run it fast. :)
