Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 6/19-6/25

Last week involved a lot of rest due to getting sick. I was tired most of the week and just did not feel like exercising. Good news is that my voice is back and I am mostly recovered. I say mostly because I still have a lingering cough that does not seem to go away.

Here's a recap of what went on last week:

Monday 6/19 - Rest
Tuesday 6/20 - Rest
Wednesday 6/21 - Rest
Thursday 6/22 - 2 mile run
Friday 6/23 - Track workout with the girls. We did some laps and exercises along the way.
Saturday 6/24 - 5 morning miles with a friend.

We both ditched our shirts and ran in our sports bras for the first time in honor of Global #SportsBraSquad day! I'm a fan of Kelly Roberts and love that she is helping me and others ditch their insecurities and show the world what strength looks like.
Sunday 6/25 - Rest

The thing that made the week a bit more smoother was the kids both had basketball camp and they both seemed to enjoy it.
Towards the end of the week, I was feeling good enough for some short runs. On Saturday I ran 5 miles in the morning and then met up with some friends for a fun day out. We hiked the Blue Ridge Trail in Stebbons Canyon. I've done the hike with the fam last year and you can check out my trip report of the hike here. Despite the heat, we still had a good time. It was our last hike together with our friend Lenora who will be moving to Texas. Not only is she my BRF, but I have enjoyed our outdoor adventures with her and her family. I'm going to miss her lots when she moves. :(
I love ridge trails. Check out the view!
We survived the heat and afterwards had a yummy lunch in Winters at the Preserve restaurant. We were so lucky to have the dad's take care of the kids while we hiked and had lunch! We came back to the kids and they were having a blast with water guns and water balloons.
The day ended with some games of bump on the basketball court. Check out the beautiful evening sky!
On Sunday, we were invited to join some friends at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom amusement park. It was our first time there and it was a fun time!
The kids enjoyed the water rides and had a blast getting soaked! :p
Hubby was brave to go on one of their newest rides, the Wonderwoman ride. I on the other hand am a wimp now, and can no longer do rides like that. I'm ok with some rides but the one you see below is just way to crazy for me! :p
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.

Are you a fan of roller coasters and crazy rides?
Have a great week!
