NYC Half Marathon Training Week 5: 1/19-1/25

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 1/19 - PiYo Core
Tuesday 1/20 - 4 miles on the Lawrenceville-Hopewell Trail (LHT)
Wednesday 1/21 - Speed work 7x400s at 5k pace with a warm up jog and cool down jog.
Thursday 1/22 - 3 miles
Friday 1/23 - PiYo Sweat
Saturday 1/24 - It snowed about 3+inches overnight so I got to run in the snow. It was a tougher 3 mile run with the deeper snow and unplowed sidewalks but I got it done.

Sunday 1/25 - 8 mile long run.

Another decent week in regards to training for the NYC Half. I got my running workouts in however the snow is making it a bit tougher. We are supposed to be getting a bunch more today into tomorrow so I am not sure if I will be able to get out depending on how much snow is dumped. It's times like these I wish I had a treadmill! :p Have a great week!

  3. Thanks Jenny! Luckily we didn't get as much snow as they had predicted. Looks like I should be able to go out for a run this afternoon! :)
