Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 6/26-7/2

Another week is done and I got more running and workouts in as I felt better. I ended up with 79 miles for June so it wasn't my best month but with getting sick and taking it easy I'll take it. The cough is slightly there but it is mostly gone so I'm looking forward to getting at 100%. I finally posted a recap of the awesome waterfall hikes we went on while at Yosemite National Park and you can check it out here

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 6/26 - Cross training workout with the girls in the morning and a 2 mile run in the evening.
Tuesday 6/27 - 5 miles with a friend plus 4 strides.
Wednesday 6/28 - 3 hot mid-morning miles.
Then went for one last run with my best running friend Lenora aka @cartwheelrunner in the evening.
So sad she has moved to Texas.
Thursday 6/29 - Ran a mile w/u, then did my Strava #mymile and got my fastest mile, then a mile c/d for a total of 3 miles! I was pretty happy I ran my fastest mile.
Friday 6/30 - 2 mile run while the kiddos biked and a core workout afterwards with the girls.
Saturday 7/1 - Rest
Sunday 7/2 - 7 mile long run.
It's been a fun week. No camp this week so it was Mommy camp. We've been keeping busy. Took them to the Spray Park one day with friends.
Also took them bowling. They had not gone in a while and it was a fun time for all.
Our garden is doing well. Here is our watermelon.
We have been getting lots of tomatoes too!
On Saturday we ventured to Santa Rosa to have lunch at Russian River Brewing Company. Hubby really likes Pliny so we got a growler of that and another beer.
It was fun tasting so many beers!
Afterwards we headed towards the coast where we did a short hike on the Bodega Head trail. It was beautiful but got pretty windy.
After the hike, we walked down to a beach area where the kids had a blast playing.
Sunday was a nice relaxing day. We ended up at the pool where I actually swam a few laps. Swimming is so hard for me but I'm hoping to keep practicing to get better so I can hopefully check off a triathlon off my bucket list. :)
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap. This week's new Guest Host for the Weekly Wrap to give Holly and Tricia a break is Running on the Fly.
Have a great week!
