My Favorite Motivational Quotes

It's Tuesday and I am linking up with hosts Jessica Joy and Jill Conyers for their The Fit Dish Link-Up every Tuesday.

Today's topic is "What would your imaginary trainer say to motivate you?" I have not ever really had a trainer. I did get a free trial at the gym when I joined but it was only for a few sessions and I can't remember the types of things he said to me to get me going. I did not seem to need much motivation when I joined the gym because I was already so motivated to lose my pregnancy weight. I knew what I had to do and already had a plan laid out. So pretty much whatever the trainer told me, I did without any complaints. :p

But to answer the question, I would think of my imaginary trainer saying motivational quotes to get me going. Or even give me some mantras to think about when I am running. These quotes are probably not what a trainer actually says but some might. I am always motivated or inspired when I read these quotes. I'm sure you may have seen some of these before as I have seen some on Facebook, and Pinterest is a haven for them. :)

Here are some of my favorite motivational quotes taken from Pinterest.
Are you motivated? I hope so! :)

  2. Love! My fave is the one about lapping everyone on the couch. My brother always says "do your best & forget the rest!" (I think that's from p90x). I'm finishing uo my coffee then I'll be off to do some piyo!

I love that it will hurt one. It's soooo true! Everything worth having takes work.

  6. Sharon, love these memes. I love the second to last one, and how honest it is. It will hurt. It will be hard, there will be temptation etc, but it will be worth it. Sometimes I think, oh, I can do it, but I don't really plan on the obstacles before they come, and they beat me. But, with this, I can anticipate it being hard, and facing it. Food temptations are the hardest for me. Thanks so much for sharing! Take care!

  8. My favorite mantras are:

"The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had
the courage to start." John Bingham

“I never said it would be easy, I only
said it would be worth it.” ― Mae West
