Brooklyn RnR Half Marathon Training Week 7 & Weekly Wrap 8/24-8/30

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 8/24 - Piyo Sweat
Tuesday 8/25 - 3 mile run
Wednesday 8/26 - 5 mile run
Thursday 8/27 - T25 Beta Rip't Circuit
Friday 8/28 - 5 mile run
Saturday 8/29 - Rest
Sunday 8/30 - 13.1 Mile Run
Not a bad week of training! I got in all of my runs and did both PiYo and T25 this week just like last week. I'm on a roll with the PiYo and T25! I even did an unplanned half marathon yesterday, more on that in a bit! I'm very happy with how things went this last week. It has also been fun participating in the #7daystretch #liveinprAna challenge. I'm hoping to continue with the good cross-training. Here is what my run schedule looks like this week:
As to the weekend, on Saturday it was pretty much a rest day of running and workouts. We did some errands which included getting all the school supplies for our 6 year old. His first day of school is on Wednesday! So glad that Target had pretty much everything we needed and there was no need to go elsewhere.

Things have been coming along well with the painting of our condo. We finished up all the bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. The bathroom was done on Sunday. There is a little bit of touch ups to do, but it will all be done on Monday. We are meeting up with our real estate agent on Tuesday, pics will be taken, and we're hoping to have the listing up this week!
Saturday afternoon, I signed up for the MRTT virtual because I knew they were meeting up at Mercer County Park Sunday morning. I thought it would be a fun group run and I ran with most of the ladies last weekend. I was scheduled to run 10 miles on my training plan so I was only thinking about doing the 10K virtual and just adding more mileage to get to the 10 but when I got to the park for the run (an early 6am) and some of them were doing the half marathon, I thought why not. I was feeling good and we were going at a comfortable pace. It was a great running with a bunch of great ladies! It was so nice to see the pretty sun rise too!
This is the medal we got. We also got a cool swag bag with lots of goodies, even a small (sample size) bottle of whiskey! :p
Nothing much else exciting happened on Sunday. I did take a nap and did a little bit of shopping for the kiddos. That sums up my week. Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap. Have a great week!
