Two Wheel Gear Pannier Backpack Convertible Graphite Review

Two Wheel Gear Pannier Backpack Convertible Graphite Review
I received this product free of charge from Two Wheel Gear as coordinated by Outdoor PR in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

I live in Davis and in Davis, biking is a popular mode of transportation. Everyone bikes. Well most everyone. You will even see the littlest tykes in bike trailers being pulled by their parents. A majority of the college students at UC Davis bike and even at my son's elementary school, many kids bike to school. So when I was given the opportunity to try out the Pannier Backpack Convertible -Graphite I couldn't pass it up. I was excited because I knew this would come in very handy.

Look at it. It's not only a pannier but it is also a backpack.
Two Wheel Gear Pannier Backpack Convertible Graphite Review
I think it's a great idea because there have been times when I've gone biking and used a backpack and my back would get all sweaty with all the stuff in it. With this Pannier Backpack it is so nice that the backpack is on the bike and your back is free from getting sweaty and it is nice to not have to deal with the backpack moving on your back while biking.

With it being bike month, I took the pannier backpack convertible on our Loopalooza 12 mile bike ride around Davis. It came in very handy. I really like that is has the two side water bottle pockets so I was able to take the kiddos' water with me and it was easily accessible. I was able to bring lots of snacks and our lunches in the backpack, along with juice boxes. Had it been on my back, I would have been less comfortable.
I have also been using this backpack for bike rides with 5 year old, on the day he does not have school. We've gone on a couple of picnics and it so nice to have something to put our lunches in and it is also great to ride without anything on my back.

It is very easy to convert from the pannier to a backpack and vice versa.
The backpack fits on most bike racks and clips on very easily.
Inside, there is a decent amount of space. It is nice that it has places for your pens/pencils, it also holds a 15 inch laptop.
It would be very easy to transport my laptop with this bag. I can see myself riding to one of the local coffee shops when both kids are in school and just hanging out and working on some blog posts. This would be great for those that bike commute to work. The bag is made of waterproof coated durable polyester and even comes with a bright fluorescent reflective rain cover. There are lots of useful pockets and even a padded pocket for your phone or sunglasses. Overall, it is a cool bag. You can check out Two Wheel Gear's Pannier Backpack Convertible Graphite here.
Have a great weekend!
