Seattle Rock 'N' Roll Half Marathon Training Week 4: 4/25-5/1

Not sure what it was but last week seemed to go by really fast for me. It was another decent week of running. I did get in one day of some strength intervals so I'm happy with that. The 5K went will with 6 year old and I also got in a really good bike ride with the fam on Sunday.

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 4/25 - Short bike ride with 5 year old.
Tuesday 4/26 - PiYo Strength Intervals and 4.55 miles run/walk with the Galloway run/walk group.
Wednesday 4/27 - 4.65 miles with a friend.
Thursday 4/28 - Rest
Friday 4/29 - 4.6 miles with friends
Saturday 4/30 - 9 mile run with a friend
Sunday 5/1 - Pony Express 5K with 6 year old and 12 mile bike ride with the fam.
As to the weekend. Saturday morning started out with a 9 mile long run with a friend. It was pretty windy which made for a tougher run. Turns out I got 102 miles for the month of April. Not bad, I'm always happy when I reach over 100 miles in a month.
Afterwards, we headed to Sacramento for the Pony Express expo to pick up our bibs and shirts for the 5K on Sunday.
The expo was pretty small so we didn't stay long. We headed out to get some lunch and decided to try a new Bahn Mi place, Viet Ha Noodles & Grill, and it was pretty good. Their sandwiches were decent and their noodle box was yummy.
After lunch, we figured we should check out the Capitol building since we had never gone inside. It was neat seeing inside and even went on one of their free tours. The tour guide we got wasn't the greatest because he tried to be funny and just wasn't. However, it was still neat checking out the Capitol and learned some tidbits of it's history.
On Sunday, was the Pony Express 5K race with 6 year old. It went well and I will have the race recap up later this week. :)
After the run, I got a text from a friend about the Davis Loopalooza bike ride. It's a 12 mile loop all around Davis. Hubby and I thought it would be fun, so we joined them. So proud of the boys because they finished the whole 12 mile ride and enjoyed it.
They ended their active day with a swim at a friend's house.
That sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
